Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka often called the MBKM program is a place for students to improve their abilities according to their interests and talents. The program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Research and Technology provides opportunities for students to explore various kinds of activities outside their campus, preparing them to move on to a higher career level. Udinus fully supports various excellent programs, such as the Free Student Exchange, Internship and Independent Study, Teaching Campus, and Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA). There is also Bangkit program that has encouraged students to create IT-based innovations, such as the Batik motif detection application Naratik and Fishku, a buying and selling platform for fishermen. Through this program students also have the opportunity to gain knowledge from a world-class campus, Stanford University.
The Modul Nusantara is one of Udinus’ programs that introduces local culture to students from outside Java and abroad. This program started with the Independent Student Exchange activities initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Students are taught to understand the value of ethnic and cultural diversity in the country. This program teaches 4 main types of activities, among others, Inspiration, Reflection, Diversity, and Social Contribution. By presenting well-known cultural figures, it is expected that the culture conveyed meets the main goals. It is also a fun program that can be followed by foreign students who want to experience the cultural diversity of Indonesia.
The Campus Internship Program is one of the places that allow students to feel the real atmosphere of the industrial world. Universitas Dian Nuswantoro is currently collaborating with various agencies both from within and outside the country regarding student internship activities. Like PT. Pertamina, Pt. Garuda Indonesia, PT. Bank Negara Indonesia, and many other well-known companies. Students will receive direct guidance from professional mentors so that students will be encouraged to solve real problems and improve their work skills. Exploring insights and practical experience regarding real activities in the world of industry, business, and the world of work (IDUKA).
Universitas Dian Nuswantoro also provides opportunities for lecturers and students to conduct collaborative research. Collaboration is an important key to answering various problems in an era where technology is developing rapidly. As a superior university with information technology, Udinus is committed to collaborating with other fields which will later be infused with information technology. Collaboration with external parties also aims to produce new works in the form of scientific publications, copyrights, patents, or products that are useful to society.
